This is the birthday of one of the greatest Hungarian poets, Attila József. We have many many great poets, one of my favourites being Miklós Radnóti, and accidentally one of my favourite poems is also recited by a younger Judi Dench in a video you can watch here. Winter elsewhere – Tél máshol
Ez itt nem Kanada, ez bizony a Balaton, pontosan két éve. Befagyva, csodás fehéren. Akkor még nagyon aktívan fotóztam. This is not Canada, it is lake Balaton exactly two years ago. It was frozen and beutiful and white. I used to take a lot more photos back then.
